India's Renewable Energy Capacity Reached 136.6 GW by 2023

- India's renewable energy capacity surpassed targets, projecting 280 GW by 2025, exceeding the initial goal of 175 GW by 2022. Renewable energy made up 37% of India's total energy supply in 2023.
- Northern India is set to become a renewable energy hub, with a potential capacity of 363 GW, supported by robust renewable energy policies.
