THE TIME MACHINE

Karbon Kapucha, the world's most climate conscious CEO, is keen to know what the world would look like 200 years from now.

Would powerful climate actions from CEOs like him have made the world a far better and more livable place?

He strongly believes they would have. To verify this, he gets his best engineers to build a time machine.

The machine built, it is time for Karbon to check out the planet's state of sustainability in 2223.

Karbon walks into the time machine, waves his arms to his gadzillion supporters cheering him from outside, punches in the number 200 and presses a button.

Vrooooom...in about 5 minutes, he is transported!

Looking out of the time machine window as it slowly glides to a halt, he is exhilarated to see an amazingly sustainable & healthy looking planet. The whole place is full of trees. He sees most people walking, with hardly any cars. The air appears super fresh, and when he glances at the CO2 meter, OMG, it shows an atmospheric CO2 level that is right down to pre-industrial levels.

Karbon is stunned. How did the planet manage it? And what contribution did his own efforts make to this extra-ordinary transformation?

With exploding thoughts and questions swirling in his head, he is, more than anything else, overawed by the ingenuity of the human race. We made it happen.

The time machine by now had come to a complete stop. With a feeling of elation, he starts whistling his favourite tune, and is just about to get out of the machine to step out into the glorious, sustainable planet of 2223 AD, when he happens to look at the console.

He sees that he had pushed the Back button instead of Forward.
