BASF and Mingyang Partner for 500 MW Offshore Wind Farm in China

- BASF and Mingyang are collaborating to build a 500 MW offshore wind farm off Guangdong province in southern China, primarily to power BASF's €10 billion Zhanjiang Verbund site.
- Mingyang holds a 90% stake in the wind farm, while BASF retains 10%, marking the first Sino-German offshore wind farm project covering development, construction, and operation.
- The wind farm aims to supply green power to BASF’s Zhanjiang site, with full operation expected by 2025 pending approvals.
