About the Role:

The Senior Field Engineer is responsible for performing final testing, startup, and commissioning of equipment, both in the field and in a manufacturing environment. You will contribute to a safe working environment for co-workers and customers and help ensure the overall success of projects. Local, regional, and national travel may be required.

Responsible For:

-Site supervision and Execution: Plan, manage and supervise on-site erection activities, including installation of mechanical and structural components, piping, equipment, and machinery, as per project specifications and timelines. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Participate in pilot testing programs for process validation.

- Quality Control: Ensure that all erection and installation work comply with the required quality standards and safety regulations. Implement and adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines at the site. Assists in review of supplier documentation for compliance with specifications.

- Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects. Customer coordination for site activities. Identify and recommend new effective solutions to meet system/ customer requirements. Provide relevant information pertaining to service assignments and meetings with customer.

- Documentation and Technical Contribution: Maintain accurate records of field activities, including daily progress reports, material usage, and any issues encountered. Contribution to planning and implementation of field services such problem identification, field service activities at site.

- Inspection and Testing: Product FAT inspection at vendor/supplier’s factory whenever applicable and required. Identifies suggestions for product, quality and customer service improvement and discussion with management. Assist in the inspection and testing of installed components to ensure operational readiness.

-Troubleshooting: Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and proactive corrective actions. Troubleshoots complex equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future. Design related issues which was gathered from the past projects to be fixed properly to reduce the site man-hours at upcoming project sites.

0-3 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.

- Knowledge of basic electrical engineering theories.
- Excellent planning and logistic organization skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication (both spoken and written English) and leadership skills to manage onsite teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Willing to travel across India to customer sites periodically
