Roles & Responsibilities: 

1. Operational Leadership - Lead the entire HVAC operations team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all active sites and projects

• Develop and implement operational processes and SOPs to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Oversee project management for installation, repair, and maintenance services, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce project cycle times.

2. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, other function heads and partners

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure service delivery and client satisfaction.

3. Leadership and team development: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to achieve excellence in all areas of operational excellence

• Build, manage, and mentor a team of regional operations managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop a second line of leadership within the operations teams to support succession planning and business growth.

4. Compliance & Safety: Develop and enforce safety standards and procedures to protect employees, customers, and the environment
 

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Anticipate project risks, resolve project issues, and ensure adherence to schedules

5. Financial Oversight: Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality

Monitor key financial metrics and operational KPIs to ensure the profitability and financial health of HVAC operations

6. Technology & Innovation: Drive the adoption of digital tools and technologies to streamline operations, enhance service delivery, and improve data accuracy

Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations in HVAC technology to maintain a competitive edge.

• 15+ years of progressive experience in HVAC operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing operations & maintenance in large-scale HVAC projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record in managing projects with budgets exceeding INR 50 crore.
• Knowledge of international HVAC standards and regulations is an advantage.
• International work experience in HVAC or Allied Industries.

• Strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, energy efficiency, and sustainable design. Proficient in HVAC systems design, installation, repair, and maintenance with a strong grasp of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
