• Ensure availability of assembly machines according to the production requirement by leading the maintenance team and coordinating with other cross-functional teams.
• Responsible for the overall assembly of mechanical maintenance-related activities.
• Ensure the availability of machines for continuous operation through planning preventive maintenance, Predictive maintenance by machine testing, troubleshooting and emergency repairs.
• Reduction of breakdown maintenance through a proper checklist, SOP's and diagnosis.
• Demonstrate competencies in preparation of reports like MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure), FMEA (Failure Mode Effective Analysis), Monitoring of efficiency ratio and utilization ratio.
• Responsible for planning and availability of critical spares.
• Understanding the skill requirement of the team and creating a learning plan to develop the team.
• Assign tasks within the team with prior planning and ensure the deliverables are as per the set expectation.
• Coordinate with a cross-functional team in complying with on-time completion of assigned work.
• Implement Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, and Poke Yoke projects.
• Safety and security of production equipment and personnel.
• Identify the scope for improvement and lead team in the development of In-house process automation.
• Responsible for review and design of jigs and fixtures to improve machine efficiencies.
