In this context, we define effective education as that which will lead to actions having a positive impact on the environment and climate.
Here’s more about the 6Es. The rationale behind each E is that it should comprise a fundamental strong driver to move climate education ahead.
A key dimension of Clidemy will be to identify experts in various fields related to climate action - Eg: Solar power, Biofuels, Electric vehicles etc.
Once identified, the Clidemy platform will leverage their expertise to provide effective education to those interested in their fields. Many of these experts are keen that their knowledge and expertise should benefit a wider section of the population, but there is currently no platform that enables them to do this.
Such education could include physical classroom courses - in the cities where the experts reside - as well as virtual education through online platforms.
Identifying them will not be easy as many of the climate action fields are just emerging, but this is hopefully where the Clidemy team’s background and network in the climate tech field could come in handy.
